Applied Solutions offers three types of enclosures for Data Loggers. The stainless steel permanently installed enclosure is normally used outdoors where acid fumes are always present. This is the most severe installation.

The FRP permanently installed enclosure is normally used outdoors where acid fumes are present only when loading or unloading. This is the next less severe installation.

The ABS plastic hand-held enclosure is normally used where the Data Logger is carried to and from the test location. It is normally located indoors in an office away from acid fumes. The least severe installation.

All three NEMA 4 enclosures are normally sealed from the surrounding environment and communicate data via Blue Tooth wireless.


The Data Logger logs data from the probe and ground circuits that are installed on the tank and stores the data in nonvolatile memory. When prompted, the Data Logger establishes a wireless connection with the laptop computer and the data is extracted from the nonvolatile memory and analyzed using proprietary software on the laptop.
